Bleaching / Tooth Whitening

Bleaching or whitening can be carried out at home using over the counter whitening kits, however professional tooth whitening can be significantly more effective than home procdures. If carried out at your local practice, the dentist will polish away any superficial stains, apply a bleaching solution and then use a special lamp or laser to optimize results. You may also be given a tooth gel to be used every day for several weeks afterwards.

Expect to pay £250 to £750 for the in practice treatment plus the at home follow up approximately £200.

The duration of the newly whitened teeth will depend on your diet and tobacco use, the original colour of your teeth and your response to bleaching products.
