Microabrasion

Microabrasion is procedure to correct discoloured teeth, usually carried out when stains are limited to the enamel layer and other bleaching methods have not proved effective.

The dentist will apply a mildly acidic compound to the teeth and then will gently removes any stain with a textured polish.

The treatment will take approximately 30 minutes per tooth and will cost in the region of £100 to £300 per tooth. If a number of teeth need treating, the process may be split between two or three visits.
